The Porto Pim Bay is located on the edge of the magnificent Bay of Porto Pim, ex-libris beach of the city of Horta, former whaling area on the Island of Faial, Azores archipelago.

In the apartments, local woods predominate in the interior and exterior coatings of the walls and in the furniture, a raw material that is sustainable and certified, with the brand Criptoméria dos Açores, which provides a cozy and cozy environment to each corner of the building. The floor is solid wood and the doors, nooks and some furniture in resinous pine centenary. For your greater privacy, the apartments are soundproofed and have all the desired comfort for your holiday stay whether you are alone, with family or with friends.
All self-contained apartments have fully equipped kitchens with appliances (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, wand, electric kettle and coffee machine), crockery, cutlery and all necessary utensils.
The bed rooms have their own bathrooms with a hairdryer. The living rooms are large and comfortable. We have internal climate (hot and cold), cable tv and wii-fi, per apartment and throughout the property, free of charge. Smoking is not allowed in the apartments.
We provide our guests with two patios and a small common area with wood burning barbecue, an electric barbecue (if you prefer) and a garden aromatic plants for fresh tea or culinary use. We have a reception desk and a luggage storage room.
To get to know the beautiful city of Horta and to glide in the calm waters of Porto Pim bay, you can use our bikes (bt and crosstown) and kayaks at no extra cost - upon request and availability, so we advise you on reservations to fill the field that Interests you. We will confirm your request as soon as possible.
Porto Pim Bay offers you extra services, such as laundry services also on request, but with no reservation required. You can do it on the spot.
The Porto Pim Bay has a privileged and central location, just 10 meters from the beach of Porto Pim and with the best local restaurants and bars in the surrounding.
If you are a hiker or a trail runner and share with us the taste of discovering paths and trails in nature, you are in the right place. We are just at the entrance of the Monte Queimado and Monte da Guia pedestrian paths, which is also certified with trail signs (you can do this with children).
Crossing the route to Monte da Guia you will be able to enjoy two entrances and superb landscapes. From its top you will see Porto Pim Beach and on the other side the Horta Bay (www.world-bays.com/bay-of-horta/) awarded as one of the most beautiful bays in the world and that in the past was flown, Traders and travelers from all over the world, being today an indisputable mandatory stop for the yachts in the Atlantic and stage of numerous international regattas.
Already at Monte da Guia, at the end of Porto Pim beach, you can take the Neptuno trail from where you will see the Baía das Caldeirinhas - protected area, walk along the Bacalhau trail or visit the Mirador da Lira.
Nearby, about 300 meters away, you can stroll through the Marina of Horta and learn about the history and legends of the Blue Island through the murals painted by the sailors who visited the Sea City.
